Deepening the Practice

– reflecting through Playback Theatre, Psychodrama, sociodrama and Action Methods

A time to experience the contribution of psychodrama and action methods for good Playback Theatre practice. The final course for our Advanced Practitioner Certificate Course students, this is a time to immerse and practice, gathering the fruits of the training so far. 

This course is also open to any Playbacker who has had at least 2 years of active practice with a group. Contact us to discuss eligibility.

Fees: £875

7 day / 6 night residential course £875 / deposit £300

2018: Tuition plus all meals from evening supper on 28 July to lunch on 3 August plus accommodation in a shared room.

2019: Tuition plus all meals from lunch on 22 July to lunch on 28 July plus accommodation in a shared room.

Scholarships are available for students and the low-waged. Single rooms may be available for £10 extra per night.

Following this, and with ongoing accumulation of practice and applications of Playback Theatre in one or other contexts, you can apply to do the Leadership in Playback Theatre programme, which is the Graduation course under the auspices of the Centre for Playback Theatre.

SPT UK hosted this course in the UK in 2012.
